Planting roses in pots
To plant a rose in a pot, it is better to use the propagation method through cuttings. For this purpose:

Plant the prepared cuttings up to 7-10.5 cm in the soil of the pot and, knowing that it needs semi-heavy soil for better growth, press the soil around it gently. Be sure to note that after planting the plant, watering should be done immediately.Water the pots in an appropriate amount so that the surface of the soil is wet and moist. Place in a suitable place exposed to indirect and full sunlight. If full light is not available for the full growth of the rose plant, use a special plant growth lamp.

You can use all kinds of plant growth lamps from Iran Growlight company to plant a rose in a pot.
For the better growth of roses, it is suggested to cover the pots with colorless nylon and make some small holes on it so that the humidity around the plant increases.

The cuttings should be watered regularly and never exposed to direct sunlight. After a few weeks and with the passage of time, the cuttings will take root and can be transferred to the original pots with suitable soil. It is better to cut the young branches after giving leaves, their second or third leaves, so that it is possible to create more and new branches for the rose plant.

It is better to propagate and plant a new rose plant in the sleeping and resting phase of the plant to help its growth.

Planting roses in the greenhouse

The best methods of growing and planting high-quality roses in a greenhouse are cuttings, which are used to propagate many plants, including roses. This method is common in Iran in different ways, and it was mentioned above that the most suitable greenhouse method is known as the use of pajosh, or the use of seed grafting, but the use of pajosh is more common.

Planting roses in the garden

There are two ways to plant mohammedy in the garden, directly with seeds and indirectly (seed transplanting), which is mentioned below.

How to propagate a rose

There are several ways to propagate roses. Cuttings, grafting, laying, propagating by cutting and planting seeds are all methods of propagating roses. The most common methods in our country are cuttings and planting, and using seeds to transplant. In the following, we will get to know the steps of each of these methods:
Cuttings of roses
One of the easiest and best ways of propagating a rose is cutting it. The cuttings must be obtained from a healthy and pest-free mother plant so that it can take root well. Cuttings can be prepared in two ways; The first type is soft cuttings and the second type is wooden cuttings. Soft cuttings are prepared from the green and soft wood of the plant at the end of the flowering season.

Usually, the length of these cuttings is about 10 cm. There are at least two or three leaves on the cuttings that you should cut off. Another type of cuttings are wooden or wooden cuttings that are separated from the stems that do not have flowers at the end of the flowering season. These stems should be at least 15 to 20 cm high. The cut at the end of the cutting should be slanted and from below the node, i.e. the place where the leaf joins the stem. It is better to separate the cuttings from the mother plant after pruning and preparing the cuttings in the autumn season to plant the mohammad flower in the fall.

Place the cuttings in rooting hormone.

Place the cuttings between 7.5 and 10 cm long in the soil and firm the soil around them. Any soil can be used for cuttings, but it is recommended to use semi-clay soil or a mixture of garden soil and sand.
Water the pot and provide the right conditions. For this, you can put a plastic nylon on the pot to provide the required humidity.
Cuttings should be watered regularly and kept away from direct sunlight.
After a few weeks, the cuttings will be rooted and they can be moved to a bigger pot. It is better to keep the plant seedlings in a pot for one year and then plant them in the garden or garden.
After planting the plant, water it immediately so that it is firm in the soil. It is also better to cut the young branches after the second or third leaf so that the plant will branch out and give new branches.

Propagation by grafting

Another way to propagate roses is through abdominal grafting. The best time for transplanting roses is from the beginning of September to the end of October. In order to reproduce the grafting of the chrysanthemum, you need to do the following steps:

Choose a branch with flowers or buds and cut it from the flower bush. Separate the main branch and the end part so that only the middle part remains, this part is the scion.
Using a sharp, sterile knife, cut the bark from 15 mm below the bud, so that only a little of the woody part of the stem is left under the bud. Continue cutting to 15 mm above the bud and remove the skin. In this way, the scion becomes pointed in the shape of an oval.
Cut the leaves on the cutting and it is necessary to leave about 1-2 cm of their petioles on the cutting.
Make a T-shaped slit on the base branch with a sharp knife. Then insert the scion through this gap into the bark of the base plant.
Put the scion completely in the gap and only the bud and petiole are outside.
With the help of a tape or plant glue, close the grafting place of the dahlia flower so that the cutting and the base plant can fuse together better.
To ensure the result and success in reproduction, after a few weeks, the petiole should be removed from the cutting with a gentle touch of the hand.
